Subroc dying had little to do with the birth of Doom. Nigga was hit by a car crossing the street. He quit the scene because after his brother died, the album they were finishing, Black Bastards got shelved because of the Sambo character on the cover. They shelved an album that focused heavily on black empowerment, because the character on the cover was "offensive." It's a slap in the face.
