@SHRoane Funny you should say that. I just started listening to the Cocteau Twins a few days ago. The first half of Heaven or Las Vegas is immaculate, but the second half is just really good. Apperently treasure is their best, so I'm about to spin that, but the jury's still out. So far so good. And I will never get sick of Strange Free World.

@D4MVP Cuz it's better than MBV and Slowdive!! Where do you weigh in on the Cocteau Twins?? It's a tough call for me who I like better b/t them & KOD. Both amazing. Big empty hole where those bands were.

I've loved Shoegaze for a long time now. And I swear, I feel like I like this album more than Loveless and Souvlaki. What's up with that?

Can't really explain how sad but energetic most of these great songs by KOD sound. I don't think other bands did that in spite of the long lost of dreampop / shoegaze names since the 90s. A great new discovery since 2007 is THE DEPRECIATON GUILD. I'd recommend the new album SPIRIT YOUTH as well as previous one IN HER GENTLE JAWS. Thanks for posting. This a totally essential album.

This group unfortunately was swept up and thrown aside by the grunge movement. While I respect many bands of that genre, I think most fondly about the shoegazing bands like Mazzy Star and Kitchens of Distinction when I reminisce about the 1990s. This song is one of best I've heard in describing complete, unwavering love for another. The most genius part is Patrick Fitzgerald singing during the fadeout, giving the impression that the love will continue on and on, long after the song is over...

Wonderful song! had this on an old Rough Trade compilation CD. It certainly deserves more than 400 views
