My fav kiss album is hotter than hell. Destroyer is way overrated but still a good album. Its in my last 10 on my fav list. Still great tho.

You guys are all high..this tune is great! S&M written all over it.Sure, it may sound like your sons band at 14..only difference is this is how song are written.not covered!! I am not sure how people could come here looking for some cool Kiss recordings and thumbs up mindless hilljacks like sjdss? Vent your mindless blabber elsewhere. destroyer sucks they didn't even have the best versions of the songs on the album and hotter than hell and kiss have the vast majority of the best kiss songs hotter than hell had 8 of aces best solos!

I can see your point.Destroyer got alot of praise but,had no balls,thanks to Ezrin. Ace was the one who wanted to use Kramer(with good reason). Either way 76 was the start of the brand vs.the band.Saw them in 77 and it was still a mixed crowd...by the time I saw them on the Dynasty tour it was like a day care outing.What they are doing now is just a slap in the face to real Kiss fans.

the reason I consider actually 1975 but in particular 76 to be the start of the downfall of KISS is because bob ezrin who I think is way overrated as a producer had his kids giggling on songs saying mommy i dont want to go to to bed?! seriously?! its as if KISS became geldings at that point!

Are any of you goofs musicians? Anytime you're showing the band a song you wrote, you go through a "play through." They weren't recording this here for the album. But if this a demo, it's likely that the other guys weren't even there since Gene usually did his demos without them. Besides, as I suggested earlier, this is not a PERFORMANCE demo, it is an IDEA demo. If you wrote songs or recorded with a group, you'd know the difference. And if you don't like the sound of demos, why listen?

@leifpaul Listen to the stuff they wrote by themselves (Gene and Paul) and then listen to the stuff they wrote with Desmond Child. Let's face it Judas Priest and other groups were miles ahead of KISS in the music department. But with KISS, well, they kindda grew on ya. (all of KISS's music was made to be played live) They got popular because parents told their kids "NO YOU AIN"T BRINGING THAT NOISE INTO MY HOUSE YOU LITTLE JERK" not to mention Boston STYX and ELO

@edmundf66 By themselves Gene and Paul kind of suck as song writers. More Gene then Paul mind you. Now with the help of say Desmond Child (a very gifted song writer and musician) Kiss did a lot of great songs. I have heard Gene do some song writing. by himself and Paul is a little better. And please do not get me started on Peter. When you get around other musicians like Wicked Lester for instance you get better sounding songs, but not necessarily better songs.

@sjdss Don't get me wrong. I find most of KISS music good. But after it got to comercial sounding I liked it less and less. KISS got famous and it sounded like they lost the EYE OF THE TIGER. The sound on this record Destroyer was way different than on the last one that is for sure. . .I hated the last 2 KISS records. AC/DC has bean around as long as KISS and they hadn't made a record in 10 years and then came back with BLACK ICE. Why can't KISS do that? a Sad But True statement(also Metalica)
