My brothers and all my friends remember The Elder well. We use to play the album during wrestling practice in high school and listen to it with our walkmans and car stereos. Myself and those mentioned remember it as one of the best albums of the early 80s. I remember it as one of my all time favorite LPs.This video was shot as the music segment of an SNL like show called Fridays. I think CBS produced it. Michael Richards of Seinfeld and Stuart Pankin of HBO's Not Necessarily The News were cast members. I stayed up to watch it. I believe I was only 14 at the time.Creatures of the Night was released shortly afterwards and we all loved that LP equally. However, as time moves on, I feel I like the Elder more than any other KISS album.

I absolutely love this song - one of my favourite KISS songs, but this version sucks. I'm glad that they weren't lip-sink it, like they've done for other live performances for The Elder.

This is tough footage to look at. Most live videos of KISS have them feeding off the audience's enthusiasm. The crowd in this video looks totally dead and the band is having to provide all the energy themselves.

I have never seen this footage and thats incredible. Even when Kiss was ths most phenomenal outrageous TV muzic video's that parents got tbe shock of their lives while either switching over fast or covering eyes. Lol, but sucking it up at friends houses on Sunday evenings when we lovsd it and the oldies cringed with absurdities and gesturing with disgust. Oh, that was before God of thunder ideo or any song aftdr tbe first album. Australia ztill loves KISS.
