Music is art and it changes with where people are in life. They were testosterone filled teens at this point and the sound reflects that. Live and let live people, just listen to the tracks/albums you like and enjoy them for what they are. Bob Dylan made a Christmas album but he also still wrote all of his classics. Not liking newer work doesn't void the old work out, the recordings are exactly the same.
