Pretty good new CD. With Shortino on vocals they now sound like a hybrid of 70's and 80's hard rock rather than just the hair band sound. I would like to hear Shortino's take on some of their classic era tunes. i think he'd do well on "Hunger", "Shadow Rider", "Mean Street Machine" and "Take It Off", less so with "Dancing with Desire" or "Never Say DIe (Iron Eagle)", unsure about "Ready To Strike" or "Second Thoughts".

KK is still alive, i'm always loved Carmine and KK, also Blue Murder. Cool to see all the origine Members except Shortino. But, Shortino, wow, love Rough Cutt and the Quiet Riot Album with Shortino. KK & Shortino, just great!!!

I saw KK open for Kiss in 1986, and they blew Kiss off the stage.. Got to talk to Mick and David, and they were both really cool about talking to the 15 year old kid during the Kiss show... I have always been a fan of Paul's voice (he was killer when I saw him live), and hope to catch this lineup on tour. Carmine was absolutely correct about Johnny's playing.. Saving the best for last.. I was born and raised with Carmine's work playing in the house, kick ass to see him still smashing away.. \m/
