Well Cecilia Bartoli herself always make me chuckle - she has her mannerisms: What did You expect from an Italian with a stage to herself?But he has her spot on!The way You can se her nail every note with a sledgehammer. It sits right where it is supposed to! She sings something no other have been ABLE to do for centuries. Best thing is though - she ends with at big laugh and an urchin glance.Of course we take music serious, but that is no reason for not having fun at the same time.If You pay big money for a ticket just to sit and sulk - that is Your problem.

For him it is a parody, and aggod one. But the trouble is that Bartoli is a thousand time more grotesque and agitated on stage (I do not talk about her vocal achievments which are in a category sui generis per se despite alas all the owlish and jodel sounds she procuces, but when she does not her voice is a sumptous instrument)...At least he was nice to watch but Bartoli is a nightmare to watch....
