Finally! I have a new video up! :D I wasn't able to make any new videos because I left the camera at the house of the bass guitar player of my band, and I was unable to record anything for 2 weeks but I got it today and I though I'd record something right away! As you might have noticed, My Curse from Killswitch Engage is usually played in Drop C, but I wanted to give my 7-string ago and therefore I changed the pitch to Drop A# and in my opinion it sounds great! I like the open chugs better but i mean the lower the better until it gets lower then E cuz i think its too sloppy then but in my opinion i like the drop C version better because its better for the melodies. Nothing against your playing it was awesome and a cool idea i think i just prefer their version10 years назад

This sounds so much better than the original Drop C tuning!! Unbelievable mate!!I hope K.E. will watch this and consider to re-record this in Drop A# cause this sound is so much more clean and yet so metal.Keep it up man!11 years назад

I used a tab from guitar pro and converted to drop A#. just look up on google 'my curse guitar pro' and you're good to go :)12 years назад

Yes I had it in Drop C for a few occasions and never really had any problems with it. The strings do feel really tight when you tune it to drop D, but then again it all comes down to what the thickness of the strings is that you're using. I'm using 0.12 which gave me a bit more trouble bending strings in Drop C but if you slap on some 0.10's you shouldnt have a problem. All in all, drop D and drop C (given the fact that you aren't using very thick strings) should work out fine on this guitar :)13 years назад

Jeroen, I'm lookin for a 7-string schecter... Luckily I saw your video. Can you play this song with the same tune as the original with your guitar? I want a 7 string but I'm afraid having issues by changing the tune, get it? I just wanted to know if I can play songs tuned in D drop, C drop, etc, like most Killswitch songs... i think this sounds sick in A# but i also have a question that i will probably get attacked for, when you tune to A# on a seven string you tune the 7th string down to A# then you tune up to F in the next string and so on correct? then add on the extra last small string13 years назад
