I have actually always listened to them both.l loved end of a heartache by Howard but I always get pumped to heart old ones by Jesse like Numbered Days so I'm glad he's back.

Jesse is the fucking man ! So respectful and can totally tell he loves the band , the fans and also has mega respect for howard ... everyone as jesse says has to learn and accept the fact howard is gone and that is it .. i love both of them man but jesse brought me alot of joy in disarm the descent, big up both of them dudes though

leach is a far inferior singer to howard in all aspects, thats just the truth of it, but oddly, i like KSE's music more with leach. the live performances though, night and day difference, howard blows leach out of the water there.

I honestly don't know why so many people like Howard. Jesse was the one who got this band to find themselves and break through the ground from underground. End of Heartache was just as Good as Alive or just breathing but As daylight Dies and self titled album was absolute over chorus arpeggio, carbon copy, sappy trash. Howard makes the band prolong more on clean guitar making the band operatic. Jesse has more force and rasp making it more aggressive and metal. go listen to both of them sing Fixation on the Darkness and you will see what I mean.

Me personally I enjoy both singers they have their pros and cons to their style but overall I have no problem with Jesse taking over as lead singer for KSE, different feel to the music since it kinda was becoming slightly stale (in my opinion mind you) and I really enjoy the refreshing changes though.  Regardless of who is the singer I love KSE.

I don't get the hate for either Howard or Jesse as both of them have been extremely classy about the entire situation. Ever since Howard's departure and Jesse's comeback there has been nothing but mutual respect. And while one may technically be better than the other, in my opinion, both of them can get the job done. They're both class acts and stand up guys.

I'm not taking anything away from Jesse, but I personally believe Howard's a better singer. Howard's voice has so much power and hits so many vocal ranges it's insane! Just the way he screams yet remains so melodic, it's like you can hear all the emotion he pours into each song, like this ma is literally sing from the heart. When I heard Darkness Falls from the Freddy vs Jason soundtrack I was instantly hooked. Out of all of KSE songs with Howard "The Reckoning" is my all time favorite, but I have to Jesse is a better writer than Howard. Jesse's lyrics are more deeper and impactful, I kind of felt Howard's were just a bit dry. Either way I wish Howard the best, the man has to focus on his health and I don't blame him. The band needed to continue and they felt Jesse was the best choice. Jesse's a great vocalist, but he had Howard have to complete different styles, so it's hard to compare the two but opinion wise Howard's voice is by far the best.
