I first heard this song traveling in my truck in Canada when I was training a student, I'd never heard of Kid Rock or this song. The student I had was a black dude he made the comment "that brothers pretty good" I said he's not a brother his reply "how do you know?" I said I don't but I'd be willing to bet he's not a black dude. I went home did a search on the web sure enough I printed a picture and took it back to the truck to show him. He said how did you know he wasn't black? because he said west and not wess.
