All you do is plug this thing in and hit record and you have great tone. Other units make you play around too damn much with menus to bother. Some of the top pros in the industry have no problems with this unit and if a Elitist tube amp player will use it then you know it's good. Check one out in person and play with it a few weeks.

part 2: Enough for anyone whos into recording at home. The interface on this thing is so straight forward you pretty much see all of it on the front of the case. The Lights are badass and get very bright as well. The Thing is built solid as hell. The Tones you get out of the unit are pretty much 99%+ of what is profiled. Anyone who says otherwise is either being an over elitist or a fanboy. Anything else is Eq'ed out the mix anyways. In the studio Kemper wins.

Just got a Kemper 2 weeks ago. Hands down it wins in the tone Department. Within Moments I was happy ( overjoyed ) with my tone. After years of playing with line6,zoom and free sims online this thing kills them. No BS Cab loading and mixing, double tracking and tons of eqing to get a hardly decent tone. I agree but not everybody has 2000 - 3000 Pounds Euros Or Dollars to spend like me. but if i had the money the Kemper would be they way to go.

so honestly which between the kemper and the axe fx II do you like better and why? I saved for two years to buy one then tried both and settled on the axe II hands down. I felt the profiling/tone matching was CLOSE but still better in the axe II and the axe II has everything else better suited to me.

if you're mainly interested in using the unit as an amp sim to record, kemper. it sounds 100 times better than the axe if you do the profiling correct (here's a blind test comparing a recto to it's profile, i bet you won't find out what is what: /watch?v=S7eFJ_8bCvw please watch all 3 vids of this series) if you're looking for a highly programmable effects unit for live use, nothing beats the axe. kemper with axe in the loop would the the best digital rig possible.

personally i wouldn't go for either of these unless your willing to fork out the cash personally i would go for the PODHD Pro which is £500 which converted into euros is €572 and converted into american dollars is $747
