August 11, 2012 - Kelly will perform at the Braun Brothers Reunion Festival in Challis, Idaho this year (2012) along with Joe Ely, Jerry Jeff Walker and many others including our boys from Idaho - Reckless Kelly and Micky & the Motorcars. Kelly will perform on Saturday, August 11th. This fantastic festival started as a local party and now draws thousands to one of North America's most beautiful areas. You really should try to make it!

@judiekleng As I understand it, Kelly left Nashville when producers tried to direct her music in a way that she wasn't happy. She stopped touring while her kids were young, and she's just begun major touring again this year. I fell in love with Kelly's voice the first time I heard it (either on CMT or GAC). Be sure to listen to "What I Deserve" and "Translated from Love". I own both CDs, and I never tire of listening to them.
