LOVE this song. the music, the lyrics, THAT voice. strange memory always goes thru my head whenever I hear this song. the scene when it's played in Soldier's Girl. knowing the movie was based on actual events and how the story ended just makes my heart a little sad hearing this song. thanks for posting.

Weird memory of this song .I was in the back of the yards neighborhood on a hot ?Chicago afternoon listening to this song and walking through an abandon field with my walkman when I found a victim of a serial killer .I was shocked and thought how these same words must have come from the victims own mouth before she died ,The killer was eventually caught .He killed 12 women .the song is especially poigniant for me
