I checked through my video tapes of k.d's early stuff from the 80's with The Reclines and there are quite a few Patsy Cline covers but I didn't come across Sweet Dreams which is a shame as I imagine that would have sounded wonderful. She was constantly changing her set list in those days so I bet its out there somewhere.

k.d. was in a Patsy Cline tribute band in the early '80's (?) by the name of The Reclines....I think they appeared on Austin City Limits once...you might search their archives.

I'm sorry Michael but its going to keep on bugging you ! I can't think of any connection of k.d with that song . Just Googled the song and its by a blind country singer called Terri Gibbs - Somebody Knockin' ( Devil in Blue Jeans ) its on YouTube.
