It was a magical instrument with an absolute unique sound (and bloody hard to handle). It got out of fashion too soon. Or rather, the Polymoog came onto the scene too fast...In 1965 the Moody Blues advised the Beatles to use it, but they only did so in 1966, in Revolver's Tomorrow Never Knows. Imagine what the Help album could have been.
