These guys are nothing like tool, if my band were to be compared to tool i'd take it as an insult. Don't get me wrong they are talented musicians, but their music evokes no emotions in me. Katatonia on the other hand have not failed in that respect in the slightest.

You are not right, this is 20x better than tool. Although the band has said Tool is an influence. Unlike Tool every album Katatonia puts out is diverse and different from the last. This band in so phenomenal. No American bands could ever compare, not even Tool. This band is so great live too. Katatonia kills all other bands!!! Also Ive met most of them.
