Kansas has 3 major things that set them apart from other bands... There are more but these 3 are a constant ... 1) they have a violinist, 2) They play very complex original music, and 3) they have spiritual lyrics. If any of these things bother you perhaps this is not the band for you... Or you could just pretend that all the songs are about sex and violins

Well, everyone's got a right to their opinion, and I'd have to agree that Kansas' albums up to & including Point Of Know Return really represent their "Golden Age", but I just love ALL their stuff! I will say, I think "In The Spirit Of Things" would be their low point, but even that one's got some awesome pieces as well!

Well, if you happen to have the LP, ( remember those?! ) on the back is a picture of the feller from the front cover, after taking the headphones OFF, and he's got this maniacal gleam in his eye from all the energy of the music, causing him to have "audio-visions", get it? Well, I think it's groovy, anyway!

Well, I must admit that I just heard this song for the first time. Maybe that's because after constantly listening to Kansas between '74 & '79, I was ready for something different. Then again, maybe it's because crappy rock stations like WBLM in Maine weren't playing this stuff anymore. At any rate, Kansas was one of the top bands of the 70's...

A perfect song. The "concept" of the album cover is good. The presentation could have been much better.Maybe a wind blowing from above entering into a real mans or kids ears, which then is used to project from his eyes out in front of him a beautiful mountain scene with a nature path going ascending to the top would have been better.
