ok, what was the point of this performance??? It isn't even close to tango..... When people r going to understand that u can't be a ballroom dancer and Argentine Tango dancer at the same time..... (that's what we can see in the background)...

This Tango, La Cumparsita is uruguayan 100%, music and lyrics, (sure there are one arg. lyrics too). This one in particular is the anthem of the tangos in Uruguay, (anyway there are also beautiful argentinian tangos).

Divertido que se peleen la paternidad del tango. El hecho es que ya es universal. Cuando tenia unos diez años me ponia a bailar segun yo este tango sin tener ni idea, y eso que soy mexicano. Interesante version.

Carlitos Gardel nació en Tacuarembó, Uruguay. Como los argentinos lo pudieron hacer argentino, lo hicieron francés. De eso no hay dudas e incluso su garn amigo Leguisamo (tambien uruguayo) lo afirma. En cuanto a La Cumparsito (el segundo himno nacional uruguayo) es de Matos Rodriguez, uruguayo y de eso tampoco hay dudas.
