@bozosaurus bozosaurus, you're most welcome for the suggestion of listening to 'In the Rain' (which is what I'm calling it for the sake of ease, even though it is officially untitled). But you should really be thanking Justin :) I wish that I could write songs that good (mine are O.K., but nowhere in the same league). I presume that you are familiar with most of Del Amitri's stuff - 'Change Everything', 'Twisted', and 'Some Other Sucker's Parade' are superb ('Waking Hours' is good, too).

@alexthepmf Try listening to the rest of the album (if you haven't already); there are several stunning songs on there - my current favourites are 'If I Ever Loved You', and the 'hidden'/untitled, final track ('In the Rain'). That's only about a minute long, but is breathtaking, too, in my opinion.
