For the second time in a week, I saw Julien Baker in Echo Park/LA, and so I nervously approached her and said hello, and told her how beautiful I think her music is (And it IS!! This video, her voice, the dance is fantastic), she was very sweet, and I wished her a good day and told her Happy Pride Month. She told me "Happy Pride Month". :) how sweet is that?! I think she is incredibly innocent, and honest.. and it breaks my heart.. maybe that's why she uses looping mechanisms to elongate and amplify her story/emotion..
