Magnificent! Such memories this brings, back when times were so different. Judy is an icon. Love her. Love her music. Love her beautiful spirit.

Beautiful voice still but the arrangement is just to smarmy, over the top. A song like this needs a simple arrangement to emphasize the voice and lyrics not smother them.

Wow, Judy Colllins' rendition of the divine Sandy Denny's song really is quite a discovery: beautiful.

Judy's voice - so incredibly beautiful. Too bad that young singers of today don't sing like this. It's sometimes hard to believe that a person can sing with such pure gold purity and vocal range that Judy has. Like the finest silk.... the voice of Judy Collins.

Shall the young of today when they reach maturity be able to re mince about the artists of today with the affection we feel for the artists of our youth?

Heard Judy sing this in concert at my college around 1968. Still the most beautiful folk song I have ever heard. Her voice is vastly superior to Sandy's, so my question is why is the Sandy Denny version so much more haunting?

Judy stands for everything good in our country. She uses her fame to touch people and is an incredibly effective performer. She lets people into her dignified world as if they belong there with her. She is a great American artist. And a real beauty, inside and out!

again such a poignant reminder of the late 60s when people like judy collins, sandy denny , joni mtchell and others could interact and play . fairport convention at their annual festival did this song, as always. incidentally, Ive never been happy about the name and idea of a wolftrap.

I love versions of this song by Sandy Denny (the lyricist of this song) and Fairport Convention, Nina Simone, Eva Cassidy and some others, but for me Judy's version reaches into another dimension; she somehow suspends me outside time and space. I can't hear her singing this and not mist up because this reaches deep into the heart where I live. What a gift!
