This song of hope kept me alive as a young gay man in the 70s in rural New Zealand. Thank you for uploading it and thank you Judy Collins for making it yours.

Even though both Joan Baez and Judy Collins sang this song, this is clearly Judy Collins. It is on her fifth record album, which I have. They deliver the same songs entirely differently with clearly different voices.

this is joan baez. You keep posting Baez an saying it's Judy Collins. Farina was married to Mimi Baez, Joan's sister.

Thanks for posting Judy's wonderful version of Gil Turner's uplifting civil rights anthem. Farina's haunting dulcimer adds just the right sound under her amazing voice. I heard her sing this, with Richard playing, at a concert in Big Sur a lifetime ago. And later spent some days with Gil at his cabin.

Many many thanks Johnson28316 - I've been hoping someone would upload this for a long time.
Those last few chords by Richard Farina are really haunting.
It's a great shame he passed so soon, & also Mimi of course.
RIP Richard & Mimi - Thank You.
