C'est Magnifique! Or, as we say in Texas, "She's magnificent"!

Greatstuff365, If you go to Wikipedia for this song Plaisir D'amour it will note that Elvis reworked this song for "Can't Help Falling in Love". He used a song that was a hit 170 years before his.

Fools Rush In? This doesn't sound anything remotely like that Elvis Song.. You sure your talking about the right song Mottled?

To mottledbrain - you're spot on. The music for the song "Can't Help Falling in Love" was based on "Plaisir d'Amour", although it wasn't an exact copy (unlike "No More" which took the tune from "La Paloma" wholesale, "Surrender" from "Come Back to Sorrento" or "Wooden Heart" from the German folk song "Muss i denn, muss i denn zum Städtele hinaus".)

Is Elvis Presley`s `Fools Rush In` based on the same tune? I keep hearing it, so I'm wondering if it is actually the exact same piece of music.

This was Marie Antoinette's favorite tune and she herself performed it in her small theater in the palace hundreds year ago. Yes, you guessed it, the queen with her head chopped off by the guillotine in the French revolution, the lyrics of the song is quite sad in that context.
