She does such an exceptional job on singing this song. Whether one is a believer or not, any one should be touched by this most wonderful song ever written. There is a signiificant message in the words of this song. I've heard this song by so many artists; however, Judith adds a special touch. So beautiful. Can bring tears of sadness and joy with her deliverance.

Say what you will, but I''ve heard many of the famous voices of the 60's sing this old spiritual song and they did it"professionally" Judith sings it from her soul and spirit for the whole world when she sings the words grace will lead US home! It's deeper and REAL! Many use it as a trademark for social change but the change is not in them! I love her hand motions as she sings it!

@ Ida Kriel: Please get your facts straight before leaving a comment. As much as I admire Nana Mouskouri in no way does she compare with Judith Durham. Judith was a Jazz singer, encompassing blues and gospel which is where her fervour, delivery and feeling are delivered in this song as opposed to Nana;s lovely but sterile version. Fact: Judith is Australian and not English!!

Sorry to say in 1994 both Nana Mouskouri 60yrs and Judith Durham 51yrs old sing Amazing Grace and believe me Nana Mouskouri is in a class that deliver vocally a much better performance with an age difference of 9yrs. NANA MOUSKOURI IS MUCH BETTER vs Judith Durham especially language wise also. Nana is Greek and Judith English. Hands up for Nana Mouskouri. I just love her and her beautiful face!
