It's another level of music. Every chord or word she plays are so deep and beautiful. I need to listen her every day

Big radio doc on BBC Radio 4 all about her, her music & life - might still be available on BBC i-player?I knew "Jesus was a Cross maker" (the song not the possible fact! :) ) & loved that, bought the album on the back of the doc - love it! Great to see she is getting the recognition she deserves - finally!

So was she a good hearted person? Who knows. If she did a bunch of drugs and had one hell of a roller coaster that's awesome for her.. But was she a selfish person? I really can't listen to anyone's music anymore and enjoy it if I know they're rotten on the inside. I have no idea, was she a really good person?

I'm a pretty hardened punk rock guitarist of the Bay area Oakland band Jack killed Jill, But when I hear Judee Sills, Her music really touches my Soul and a sense of feeling.

I remember seeing Judee on OGWT in the early 70s at Uni after a few sherbets. I was very impressed at the time, and the following morning made a few attempts to find her album in Leeds - without success. I then forgot about her for many years (to my almost eternal discredit). I have rediscovered her since, though, and this song is just wordlessly beautiful. Great talent, sadly unheralded for many years. Why was she not so much bigger, when others with much less talent became successful?

She was a heroin addict and rostituted for the money. What I was more pset about was how cavalier about her success, as if she knew it was coming. She died of a drug overdose at 35 years old after making only tweo albums. She could have made more, but due to the mediocre success of the second one, she didn't feel it was warranted?!

This mjsic was the only thing I played for my new baby in 1973. My husnamd hated the album, even though I discovered her when she opened for Crosby Stil and Nash.l He thought she was one of those "christian rockers". Frankly - so did I until yesterday when I read part of her biography and learneds she grew up in wealth, had all the trapings, she dated a theif and actually particiated in a hold up sending her to a girl's reform school (she was 15).
