For the.idiots who are complaining about robs voice, the audio version is always worse compared to the sound you hear at concert. And rob is actually great, much better than the rock in rio and other 90s show. I would die to have that voice

Just caught these guys live last week. In his 60s Halford can still hit the screams. After they said "good bye" they came back out on stage and Rob asked the crowd, "What song do you want to hear next?" I screamed Painkiller as loud as I could. Either they heard me (they didn't) or they planned on playing it anyway (duh) and played this along with 2 more songs for the encore. One of the best concerts I've ever seen out of many. These dudes are in their sixties and still melt the faces off of the crowd. Long live metal, fuck modern hipster music.

Just saw Judas Priest live yesterday. And believe me, he's 63 years old and he's singing this song better today that in the 90's ;)

Tipton is on fire on this, Halford sounds like a child. Legends though

remember in the studio version robs vocals are overdubbed so obviously live the thickness isnt there because there is only one vocal track not two take a look on my channel i have tutorials on how to sing things like painkiller ect

This song contains some of the best solos ever written. Aggressive and melodic.
