Ripper isn't so bad on stage. imho better than in studio recordings.but Rob sings in his own league and has the ability to give all the Priest songs this attitude that we all love and whats Priest songs makes so unique.

not bad. who am I to judge?Still, this sounds more like a good cover band without the fury of Halford. The music is good, the band does their job, but vocally, the thrill and adventure is lacking.He is a great vocalist, yes, just not the same caliber.It'd be like asking Sammy Hagar to fill in for Geddy Lee, which could not happen-not the same style of music. Great vocalists, just not the same style.Oh well.Still a great song. Well delivered and produced. Sound men did a decent job too.To each their own.

haha. they must've tuned down quite a bit (like a full step or even a third). came here from an 80's live vid with halford and it was such a contrast. and ah... I just can't stand it when the drummers pull away.

One thing I like about Tim Owens, is that he seems like the everyday man. Like, someone you'd see on the streets. He doesn't have the "metal superstar" look to him. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.
