Beautiful song. I even like it more because when you look at it through the eyes of someone with Asperger's (like myself and Adam from the movie) it makes probably even more sense than for NT's (normal people). I mean, the beginning 'something you said, it sits in my head, it's been there for too long, it's killing me slow', is something that a lot of people with AS (Asperger's) struggle with. They don't understand metaphors and things like that, so they kan keep thinking about something someone said, and they will remember it, so they can, at this moment, still think about something you said 3 years ago and still wonder what you meant by that. 'It's keeping the good parts of me closed' can be seen as the fact that until they fully know somebody and trust that one, they will open up completely. 'Can't you see, that when I find you, I'll find me' is about what I said earlier, they won't open up until they fully trust you, but is also about needing someone to help you in daily life because a lot of things are too overwhelming or not understandable.
