I hear a Raga in here - it's the melody, and the reaching, and yearning... reminds me of Lakshmi Shankar. I'd even say there is even something "Devotional" about it. I listened to the orchestral version of this today - recorded later in her life, with the gorgeous Vince Mendoza arrangement - Absolutely SUBLIME! Joni will come to be seen as one of the most innovative, and Important Musicians of Modern Times.
