I'm fairly certain that "he" is coming to her for much more than conversation. I like the song but I dislike the subject. In fact, I don't know why I like the song at all but for Joni Mitchell's rhythm guitar. It's girly and it's shrill. I was a teenage boy when this album was released and at the time enjoyed it. Though the record album has merit I'm not so taken with it now that I'm a sixty year old man. It didn't age well; though I think the opening song, Ladies of the Canyon, is very pretty.
