I'm a bit tired of people saying trip-hop/downtempo tunes are boring, they just don't understand that it's all about smoothness and grooves. Groovy but not heavy. Try to make a good song using only a few "live" instruments and some samples, you'll see it's way harder than laying down an old drum n bass drum pattern and adding some whobble bass.

Btw found and got an LP last week, which the original sample has. The song is Chuck Mangione with The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra: Places Warm (live), it's on the 2LP called Together. (Anyway, nice job Mr. Kennedy, as always. :) )
