English accent sounds weird in a country song. For a great cover by Sophie Ellis Bextor of another artist, i'd recommend her version of Blondie's Denis, even better than the original!

Great rendition of this Dolly tune. She puts her real English accent into it and it gives it a different vibe.

Оригиналът е на Dolly Parton, но тази версия е стотици пъти по-класна :) Поздрав!

I'm definitely not a fan of Sophie Ellis Bextor's music and voice, but this cover is bloody amazing! I heard it on Beautiful People ages ago and didn't realise it was her until now!

Jeez. If Sophie is losing her guy to a better-looking woman, I can't imagine what this guy must look like.

That's a lot of emotion for a lamp..

One of the best covers of the song, by far. Her heavy accent adds wonders to the song.

Anyone else think this is a weird song lyrically speaking? asking another woman to not "take" your man as if men have no free will to deny women and are simply objects like a lamp, seriously replace the word "man" with "lamp" and the song works. Kind of an odd way to phrase the lyrics of a song.
