As a kid, I had this on the Cadence label #1432. It was the flip side of "I Can't Help It (If I'm Still In Love With You)" I wore it out, I played it so much. It was released in Oct. 1962. Both sides were covers of Hank Williams tunes.

Hank Williams was born and raised in Georgiana, he wrote this song about the time I was born. I mom knew him and when he sang at bars she would go and dance. Now Johnny Tillotson has sung it. many people have redone this son. Hank Williams did many song that are still popular today. He was a legend. He was born just of the street from my house in Georgiana, I think I drove by it for you to see one time when you were here. hugs, dad

This is one of the classic Couple Moonlight songs at the Black Hawk Rollerdrome, rollerskating at its best.

There must be 500 versions of this song. This is my favorite, possibly because it was the first. I bought the album "It Keeps Right On aHurtin" in 1962. I did not realize it at the time, but this was the only track on the album in mono- all the other 11 were stereo. Always wondered why.

A beautiful version. Johnny puts his own signature on it, and makes it his own as much as B.J. Thomas did.
