This brilliant version is Chic Honest and Crisp with a clean indescribable innocence to it. The 1940s jazz smoothness and harmonies are truly cute and perfect. Oh that songs today had the same "Calico" feel to them. A time when we loved fun and light-heartedness more. I wasn't alive when it was made, yet the mood of the Rodeo love scene sure is set in my mind I applaud you totally for posting a good honest cowboy love song from a by-gone era - we all should visit again.
