This absolutely beautiful song, sung so magnificently by Johnny Mathis, was written by Jerome Kern and Ira Gershwin for the 1944 film "Cover Girl". It has been associated with the memory of Rita Hayworth, one of the stars of the movie, who suffered Alzheimer's disease prior to her death in 1987.
