I really miss seeing these 'old school' singers on the TV. It's all reality shows and no talent now... We don't hear it much on radio either. Johnny Mathis is still magical to listen to. A sad loss to music. The kids don't know what beautiful music sounds like. Or maybe I'm just a sad old git!

Oh how I remember him singing thus on Ed Sullivan. Spellbinding to see my shy humble music idol sing his big hit. I feel the same right now as back then.
