I found myself here after a comment on facebook by the amazing Suzanne Vega, she mentioned "folk song and minstrelsy" of which 'Johnny has gone for a soldier' is the 1st one I have listened too, a few versions of it. This version is really good and oddly enough this girl has a sound and quality of Suzanne Vega!! It probably sounds better to us than it does to you 2 playing it! Not flawless but very well done and a great result.. like it a lot!
