I like Johnny Crawford's version of this song better than Andy Williams et al. The older I get, the more melancholy I feel listening to the "old" songs. It's a kind of a bitter sweet, Our Town, 3rd act feeling you can only understand as you age. All but two of the actors in Breakfast at Tiffany's, Beverly Powers and Mickey Rooney, are dead now as well as many friends and family members who were around when Johnny Mercer and Henry Mancini won the 1961 Oscar for best song.
