Ned Kelly died in his early 20s, after living a hard life without father and yes he was petty criminal as were many.esp irish immigrants who were victimized by some of the British law enforcement. He, like many irish didn't take too kindly to harassment. As is evident by the destruction of British infrastructure by Ira, damage that literally makes 911 look insignificant. Kelly wasn't a hero, rather came to symbolize Australia's personality having gone thru years as a prison country and being able to NOT TAKE ANY SHIT, and become the best country in the world against all the odds. Thus when people here escaping some shit in their country we aren't overly sympathetic as we went thru hell but triumphed, and turned this country into paradise. No helping hand, just pain. So persevere with own country and improve it, don't come here and live off the fruit of our Labour than criticize us and our culture.
