The guitarist looks like a cross between Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics and "Kid Congo" Powers of the Gun Club and the Cramps ! One of my fave Beatles tunes ! Like the tone he gets out of that geetar !

I saw Johnny A in Portland, Maine with these guys, maybe on this tour. He put on a really entertaining show. By chance, I ran into him the next day at the local Guitar Center. Funny, likable, down-to-earth guy, with deep roots in and great respect for the music. Terrific guitarist. As milowagon says, there's a lot going on here. This is one of my favorites. At the show he told a funny story about his Mom getting him tickets for the Beatles concert I think at Shea Stadium when he was a kid. He definitely deserves to be better known.

Youtube turned me on to this great player. Total master of tone and effects. Count the number of times he changes the effect patches, very subtle. Love this version, stayed up til 3 in the morning to rip it off. Unknown in the UK, but I am spreading the word. Thanks for posting.

Excellent rendition! Great arrangement. But the director of the video so totally screwed up the blocking that the primary camera which is shooting Johnny front and center, is almost totally blocked by the audiences heads. The editor could not work around this massive error, thus marring and ruining this otherwise decent video. The director didn't notice this BEFORE the shoot started that he MIGHT have a problem? Sheesh.
