You're breaking my heart LadyGreyCarolyn ... A few years ago my husband, the love of my life, and I heard the chorus of Loch Lomond on an old movie and sang it together. My beloved husband died two years ago and recently I remembered how we sang that song together. I found this on the Internet and sang the chorus, this time at his grave. I am from Finland but I am happy to say that I have twice laid my eyes on its beauty. Ones I even swam in its water and ones I just looked at it from the bus window visiting a friend in Uig on Skye. I love to sing along this song and when I do I have all my Scottish friends around me even though I can not touch them in person. I have to admit that it makes me feel just a wee bit of being Scottish my self.

Lady Grey, thanks a lot for posting this wonderful video here. I am not Scottish, but I love Scotland very much. I lived in Glasgow from 1994 to 1998. This great song makes me recall those lovely years over there.

Thanks Lady Grey: John McDermott is quite loved in Toronto. He often sings with the St. Michael's Choir at out Cathedral, built by irish immigrants in the 1840s. His accent is beautiful. I am a Canadian mutt, McRae and Doyle, love the Scottish Highland and Tipperary lore.
