@cometandcupids - The guitar playing is solid all right. John played great rhythm, but the really heavy stuff - and the solo - is played by Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick. This is a great version with Nielsen, drummer Bun E. Carlos, and Cheap Trick's bass player. Everyone loved it - except Yoko. She was afraid that Cheap Trick would be a "bad influence" on John. She also thought that they were using John to promote themselves, which was stupid. They were bigger on the music scene at the time.
