The bass player is, Gary Link. He joined the Wolf in 1982 and remained with them until late 1984. Gary is the bass player on the John Kay & Steppenwolf album, "Paradox," that was released in 1984. He rejoined the Wolf in 2009 and has been with them since.

The guitarist is Danny Johnson; I am not sure who the bass player is.

@Crossbow0106 You're welcome! I did a bit of hunting, and I think it may be Danny Johnson?? There is an interview clip here on YT where he says at the beginning he will be touring with them in 2010. Search 'Danny Johnson Interview with Jason', you'll see it.

No one should forget this: Michael Wilk, the keyboardist, has been with The Wolf over twenty years, drummer Ron Hurst almost that long. In the original group only Kay and drummer Jerry Edmonton (sadly departed) stuck it out. This band has always been consistently good. I have a question: Who was the bass player in the clip? Give John Kay a lot of credit, he resurrected the band when it was being misused by bogus Wolf bands. Excellent song, thank you for posting!

I saw Steppenwolf in Jan 1995 with Blue Oyster Cult. They rocked the house!!! Some guy rushed onto the stage while they were playing "Born to be Wild" and had to be escorted off stage (LOL). No one was hurt. "Born to be Wild" and "Magic Carpet Ride" are my 2 fav songs from Steppenwolf.
