John Denver performed at the Heartland Heroes Victory Celebration in Omaha, Nebraska on 7/3/1991. Chip Davis composed the special arrangement of our National Anthem to welcome home our trips following the end of Operation Desert Storm. I was there that evening to welcome home my brother-in-law, Sgt. Tim Locatis. The USAF Startegic Arms Band performed back up for John. It was a magical evening.

This has to be one of THE hardest anthems to sing. I've just come from a Watch Mojo video of anthem fails,and boy is this a hard song to sing. john did a tasteful,lovely job. But boy,as an Aussie am I glad Advance Australia Fair is a LOT easier to sing.10 years назад
