John Denver was a great singer he was always a good man to listen to. I'm not much of a country music fan I just never got into it. This song means alot to me my grand pappy worked the deep mines and his brothers and uncles did too he left Galley Mountain and moved to Akron ohio he missed home every day and we took him back to the Galley Mountain after he passed away he wanted to go home so he did.
