Yeah this song is awesome musically, but how about the political undertone? Having a full tank but 'rolling on empty' is metaphysical of the fact that the government throws money at the issues surrounding the community but it doesn't solve problems. 'yellowcake' is the uranium that is mined on aboriginal land. Johnny wants it back! Johnny not hearing the sirens is an awesome indicator of how indigenous people don't recognise "white man's" law, and want to live their own way. fucking mad song!

John Butler hasnt changed, he has always been unique as fuck when wrting music. Every time he plays a song, it is different. Take Ocean for example, no 2 performances sounds EXACTLY the same. People need to be open minded, and just enjoy the music

He didn't go 'commercial'. His sound is catchy, and as far as I know the lyrics are far more in depth. Give it a rest people. He will always be in his own. Period. Love it or leave it.
