I don't respect House Music if this is the best it has to offer, although I respect the production quality (NOT the woeful encoding quality with those disgusting-sounding artefact-ridden hi-hats, that's pathetic on this youtube upload, very poor sound even for a 360p video quality setting). Nah, fella, we just like beats that have some panache, not just 4/4 boom boom boom boom, i.e. FUNK not DISCO. Get me? Said beats are far harder to produce (especially for a live drummer, where this all comes from originally), but regardless, have a quality that is essentially funky, whereas that quality is lost in boring house beats, so it is NOT 'funky'. You wouldn't catch James Brown saying "here's a funky beat" - then this robotic, boring beat drops, would you? Also the encoding artefacts...
