Joe, You're obviously a Boston guy. What an innocent time that this station's call letter were actually wVDa. I still remember the Joe and Nemo's on the corner of Summer and Kingston Streets had a clock on the wall which had the call letters and frequency displayed around its circumference. Yes, this song was a killer in its popularity. Still gets many requests for play on WATD 95.9 FM Sunday nights 10 PM till 2 AM.
