Joe Jackson in duet with multi-instrumentalist Mindy Jostyn, Sydney, 1991. Jostyn sadly passed away from cancer in 2005. IMHO this is the best recorded version of a great song, and better than the JJ/Joy Askew one. Graham Maby on bass, fabulous as usual.

I had no idea who this woman was. I've seen JJ many times, but I never saw her with him. She is superb. I was so sad to read in the description that she died of cancer. What an amazing talent. RIP.13 years назад

Thanks for uploading these! I've had this VHS tape for 15 years and got it converted to DVD a while ago. I seriously couldn't count how many times I've watched it, and I agree, this is the best version of this song he's ever done.14 years назад

@mrkinnc - It's the same arrangement, but Joy's voice is more powerful, which I think actually detracts from it a little.I've got it on CD but not VHS video. Let me hasten to add that Joy is very good.14 years назад

cheers for that. she's in the other videos from this concert of course, but all in backing roles (vox / violin / guitar / harmonica ). I saw the Melbourne version of this concert and she really added spark to the show.14 years назад
