Chad Johnson doesn't know much about music. If he listens to music from some of the Eastern cultures he would find a similar type of singing from the female voice. Ms. Newsom also stands in a great tradition along with Kate Bush and others. Not only that but she plays a mean harp!!!!

I couldn't understand why so many people were hating on this artist. I listened to her music almost a decade ago and recently stumbled upon it again, only to find the comments flogged with hateful, sometimes childish statements.Then I read she's married to Andy Samberg. Maybe she doesn't deserve the extra attention now? Maybe the lonely island shippers find her voice to shrill? Am I getting that right?Comedy is comedy. Music is music. More importantly it's all subjective. You have a right to your opinion, but why the hell are so many damned youtube comments so meandered and hateful? It's a bit too much. Can't I reminisce somewhat peacefully?

This version definitely sounds better than this other live version I saw. This kind of vocal style just doesn't sound right when it is projected so heavily to fill a room. It just sounds better when it is smaller, more intimate. Then again I also am not a fan of some live performances. I think when recording is done RIGHT in a studio setting, it typically is the way to hear a song, and this sounds better to me.
